The answer to that is an emphatic no! Your colon is like a self-cleaning oven and needs no outside help. And just by cleansing it, you could be putting yourself at risk for irregular bowel movements, perforated colon, trouble with digestion. You also remove the bacteria that keep your guts in check.
The only reason it appears you lose weight is you are (pardon my phrasing) dumping out 5-6 pounds of waste. It does nothing for weight lose. Of course you’ll feel lighter and better, think of sitting on the toilet for a good long while. Same basic principle.
Just skip this and lose weight the old fashioned way – portioned sizes, cutting 500 calories from your daily intake, avoiding greasy foods, skipping processed meats.
